What began with a camera became a privilege I never expected.

Over the years, I’ve stood beside families as they laughed, cried, let go, and began something new. Somewhere along the way, I realised I wasn’t simply documenting these days, I was being trusted with them.

HMF grew from that trust.

WHY I LOOK FOR THE IN-BETWEEN

I used to think my job was to photograph the celebration. Now, I think it’s about becoming part of it, knowing the people, feeling the rhythm of the day, and being close enough to notice the moments that happen naturally.

I’ve photographed a lot of weddings. But what I remember most are the people. The families who welcomed me in. The friends who made room for me. The quiet moments I was lucky enough to witness. Somewhere along the way, I realised that being there was just as important as photographing it. HMF is my way of holding onto those days, honestly, and with the people at the center.
